# NamastePOS > Mobile-first, offline-ready restaurant POS and billing software for India. Billing, KOT/KDS, table and captain ordering, QR self-ordering, GST invoicing and live reports run from an Android phone or the web dashboard (iOS app coming), and keep billing when the internet drops. Operator: NamastePOS, India. Founded 2026. Contact: support@namastepos.in. Site language: English (en-IN); support in English and Hindi. Companion files for AI systems: full site text in one request at https://namastepos.in/llms-full.txt · structured pricing at https://namastepos.in/pricing.md · live plan feed (JSON) at https://api.namastepos.in/v1/public/plans ## Who it is for Single-outlet Indian food businesses - cafes, QSRs, cloud kitchens, dhabas, street-food stalls and small restaurants running 1-3 registers - and small chains of 2-5 outlets. Owner-operated, Android-first, UPI-first, GST-registered. Billed per register. ## What makes it different - Offline-first billing. Orders are written on the device and replayed once on reconnect (each order carries its own ID, accepted once), so billing and Bluetooth KOT printing continue through an outage and a bill can never be duplicated. Network printers and the kitchen display need a connection. - The phone is the till. No counter PC and no proprietary terminal required. Staff sign in with phone plus PIN, on any Android phone or browser. - GST built in. Server-authoritative pricing, CGST/SGST/IGST and HSN per item, and e-invoice ready (GSP connection required) on the higher plans (see the plan ladder below for exactly where each starts). - Transparent, all-inclusive pricing. A free-forever plan, paid plans from ₹299 per month, monthly billing, no annual lock-in, and reports on every plan with no report paywall. - Growth tools included, not sold back. Loyalty points, memberships, prepaid wallet and gift cards, customer CRM, referrals and QR self-ordering are part of the plan ladder. ## Definitions, as NamastePOS uses the terms - Restaurant billing software: the software that takes an order, prints or shares the bill, records the payment and keeps a record you can check at day-end. In NamastePOS it also fires the KOT, handles UPI, cash, card and split payments, and writes every order to the phone first. - KOT (kitchen order ticket): the slip or screen entry the kitchen cooks from - table or token number, items, quantities, instructions. KOT software sends it from the billing device to a kitchen printer or a kitchen display the moment the order is taken. - KDS (kitchen display system): a screen in the kitchen that shows KOTs live instead of, or as well as, printing them. Any phone, tablet or old monitor can be the screen. - Captain mode: a waiter (captain) takes the order at the table on their own phone; the KOT fires from there. - GST tax invoice: the bill a regular-scheme restaurant issues, showing GSTIN, an unbroken invoice number, HSN per item, and CGST and SGST (or IGST) as separate amounts. A composition-scheme restaurant issues a bill of supply with no tax lines instead. - Restaurant GST rate: most standalone restaurants charge 5% (2.5% CGST + 2.5% SGST) without input tax credit; 18% with input tax credit applies to restaurant service from specified premises, broadly outlets inside hotels above the notified room tariff. Guide: https://namastepos.in/blog/restaurant-gst-rate-5-vs-18 - E-invoice ready (GSP connection required), short form "e-invoice format": NamastePOS produces e-invoice-format documents with a placeholder reference (not an IRN). No IRN exists until the invoice is reported to the IRP through a GSP; NamastePOS is not connected to a GSP/IRP yet, so nothing is filed with the government and nothing it prints may be used as an IRN in a return. - Offline-first: the order is saved on the device as it is taken, the bill and KOT print on a Bluetooth printer without internet, and the order syncs once when the network returns, carrying the same order key so a retry cannot become a second charge. Bills printed offline carry a bill number and estimated tax; the GST tax invoice, numbered in the financial-year series, is issued when the order syncs. - Register: one device taking payments. Plans are priced per register. - Legacy POS: the site's term for desktop, Windows-based or annual-lock-in restaurant software in general. NamastePOS does not name competitors. ## What it does - Billing and POS: quick bill, token, table and captain modes; variants and modifiers; bill split; split payments across cash, UPI and card - KOT printing on every plan; live kitchen display system (KDS) and captain mode from Growth - Table management across floors, plus reservations - QR self-ordering from the table, with server-side price re-validation - Invoicing: basic invoices on every plan; GST tax invoices from Growth; e-invoice ready (GSP connection required) and TDS/TCS from Pro - Loyalty and points, memberships, prepaid wallet and gift cards, customer CRM - WhatsApp receipts, order updates and marketing campaigns - Inventory tracking, recipe costing, dish wastage, dead stock and low-stock alerts - Expenses, one-tap daily closing, live sales and item reports on every plan; advanced reports, exports and the P&L and balance sheet from Growth - Zomato and Swiggy as an order channel (from Pro): aggregator orders are logged against their own channel, share one KDS queue and get per-channel reports and payout reconciliation. A direct order feed depends on the platform approving the outlet. - Delivery and rider workflows with delivery OTP - Multi-outlet (up to 3 outlets) from Advanced; Enterprise includes 5 outlets and adds more at ₹399 a month per extra outlet, plus multi-currency, API access and white-label ## Platforms Android (APK) and a web dashboard today; an iOS app is coming. One login works across devices. ## Plan ladder (INR, per register, verified 2026-10-10 against https://api.namastepos.in/v1/public/plans) | Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Menu items | Staff logins | Tables | Floors | Outlets | Monthly orders | |---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---| | Starter | ₹0 | not offered | 75 | 1 | 10 | - | 1 | 500 | | Growth | ₹299 | ₹2,999 | 75 | 5 | 8 | 1 | 1 | 2,000 | | Pro | ₹599 | ₹5,990 | unlimited | 10 | unlimited | 3 | 1 | 4,000 | | Advanced | ₹999 | ₹9,990 | unlimited | unlimited | unlimited | unlimited | 3 | unlimited | | Enterprise | ₹1,999 | ₹19,990 | unlimited | unlimited | unlimited | unlimited | 5 | unlimited | How the caps behave: the monthly order cap is counted per calendar month and resets on the 1st, and it is SOFT - at the cap the bills still go through, the extra ones are recorded as overage, no overage charge is raised, and the owner is told in the app so they can move up when it suits. Menu items, staff logins, tables, floors and outlets are HARD caps - at the cap, creating another one is refused until the plan is raised. Nothing is billed without the owner choosing it. Yearly billing costs about ten months of the monthly price, so roughly two months free. Free trial: 7 days, no credit card. No annual lock-in, cancel anytime. Add-ons (WhatsApp messaging, e-invoice pack - GSP connection required, extra outlets) are sold separately and priced in-product. Where features start on the ladder, so nothing is implied to be free that is not: - Growth is the one-counter plan: POS, KOT printing, token numbers, variants and modifiers, basic invoicing, expenses, basic reports and day-end closing. Its caps are in the plan table above. - Kitchen display (KDS), captain mode, QR self-ordering, bill split, customer CRM, cash registers, bulk import, the web dashboard, GST tax invoices and accounting (P&L and balance sheet) start on Growth. - GST tax invoices start on Growth. - E-invoice format (needs a GSP) starts on Pro. NamastePOS produces e-invoice-format documents with a placeholder reference, not an IRN; it is not connected to a GSP/IRP, so nothing is filed with the government. - TDS/TCS starts on Pro; bank reconciliation is Enterprise. - Table reservations, the Zomato and Swiggy channel (with payout reconciliation), inventory tracking, recipe costing, voice billing, memberships and prepaid wallet, B2B invoicing, multi-floor tables and customer reviews start on Pro. - Loyalty and points, multi-outlet (up to 3 outlets), unlimited staff, recurring invoices, forecasting, dead-stock alerts, surge pricing, driver mode and custom branding start on Advanced. - Enterprise includes 5 outlets, then ₹399 a month per extra outlet; multi-currency, API access and white-label are Enterprise too.
